Duck meat is incredibly juicy, dense and has a pleasant specific flavor. It contains all the trace elements and vitamins necessary for the body, so eating it is very beneficial for health. Baked duck with apples and honey has always been and remains an exquisite dish on any festive table.

- 1 duck;
- 7 cloves of garlic;
- 1 tsp curry
- salt;
- 1 tsp ground black pepper;
- 4-5 apples;
- 3 tbsp. l honey;
- 1 onion;
- parsley and dill.
Instructions
Step 1
Use chilled but not frozen duck to prepare the dish. Rinse it well and dry it with a paper towel. Then rub the inside and outside of the carcass vigorously with a mixture of garlic, curry, salt and black pepper.
Step 2
Pin the thighs and breast in several places with toothpicks so that in the future the duck skin does not break and is crispy. Leave the carcass in a warm place for two to three hours to soak in the aromatic spices.
Step 3
Next, finely chop the duck fat and melt it in a hot frying pan, remove the cracklings immediately.
Step 4
Remember that apples must be sour in taste, then you will be able to achieve the right balance of tastes by combining sour apples and sweet honey. Wash them in cold water, pat dry, remove from the core and cut into large cubes.
Step 5
Fry the apples lightly in duck fat and add honey. Then simmer them for another five to seven minutes and refrigerate.
Step 6
Stuff the carcass with fried apples, close the hole with an onion. After that, put the duck in a special baking dish, carefully cover with foil on top and put in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for an hour and a half.
Step 7
After the time has passed, remove the duck from the oven, remove the foil, brush the carcass with honey and send it back. Cook for another thirty to forty minutes, water the bird with the resulting juice from time to time.
Step 8
Put the finished duck on a plate, remove the onion and toothpicks. Take out the apples with which it was stuffed, rub them through a fine sieve, cook for ten to fifteen minutes over low heat and use as a sauce.
Step 9
Let the duck stand for twenty to thirty minutes, it should "rest" a little after the oven. After that, garnish it with fresh parsley and dill, pour with applesauce, serve. Bon Appetit!
