Pea cutlets are a delicious vegetarian dish that is easy to prepare.
It is necessary

- - a mixture of spices "Garam masala" - 1 tsp;

Instructions
Step 1
Pour cold water over a glass of peas and leave to soak overnight. After that, drain the water and pour it fresh. You can boil peas in water, you can steam them, the main thing is to bring them to readiness. Cooking time is about an hour, the peas should become soft.
Step 2
Allow the cooked peas to cool, drain the water and crush them in mashed potatoes. A blender is fine for this. The resulting puree should be thick.
Step 3
Now add the necessary spices to the peas. Asafoetida is needed so that the legumes are better absorbed, and the garam-masala mixture will give the cutlets a special taste and aroma. You can add two tablespoons of sour cream to the cutlets, but if you're on a fast or a strict vegetarian diet, this isn't necessary. Season with salt to taste.
Step 4
Grate the carrots finely. Add grated carrots and flour to the pea puree and mix well. The amount of flour may vary, but the mixture should be thick enough.
Step 5
Preheat a skillet with vegetable oil, you can also use olive oil. Shape the patties and fry on both sides. The patties are ready when they are browned. You can serve it in any form, hot, warm, chilled.
