1. Simple potato salad with herbs and garlic

You will need:

  • 500 g potatoes;
  • 2 tbsp sunflower oil;
  • garlic to taste (2-3 cloves);
  • a bunch of green onions;
  • freshly ground black pepper and sea salt to taste.

Wash the potatoes, brush lightly with oil and send them to the preheated oven to bake until tender. Then cut into small cubes, season with pepper and salt and stir.

Wash the onion feathers, dry and chop finely. Mix the herbs separately with the grated garlic and a couple of tablespoons of sunflower oil.

Add the dressing to the baked potatoes and serve!

2. Potato salad with herring

You will need:

  • 500 g potatoes;
  • a bunch of green onions;
  • 2 tbsp sunflower oil;
  • 200 g salted herring;
  • freshly ground black pepper and sea salt to taste.

Cook the potatoes in the same way as described in the previous recipe, and while it is baking, remove all the bones from the herring and cut it into small pieces, mix with chopped onions, pepper and season with oil. Then add the potatoes, stir and taste with salt - you may not need to add salt!

Note that this salad is also good with anchovies (although this is no longer such a budget option).

3. Potatoes with lemon dressing

You will need:

  • 600 g potatoes;
  • 2-3 tbsp olive oil;
  • 1 tsp lemon zest;
  • freshly ground black pepper and sea salt to taste.

Bake the potatoes in their skins and cut into medium cubes. Add salt and pepper, sprinkle with zest and pour over with olive oil. Serve the dish warm.

4. Hearty potatoes with bacon

You will need:

  • 600 g potatoes;
  • 100 g bacon;
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar;
  • 0.5 tsp Sahara;
  • 1 tbsp chopped dill;
  • salt and pepper to taste.

Boil the potatoes. While it's cooking, cut the bacon into small pieces and place in a skillet. Wait for the bacon to melt and transfer the bacon to a plate with a paper towel to absorb the excess fat, and add a little sugar and a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar to the skillet. Wait for the sugar grains to dissolve.

Now it's the turn of the potatoes: send them to the same pan and fry quickly, stirring constantly. Season with salt and pepper to taste, sprinkle with dill, add bacon, stir again and serve.

5. Potato salad with peas

You will need:

  • 1 kg of potatoes;
  • a couple of tablespoons of fresh parsley;
  • a bunch of green onions;
  • 1 tsp salt;
  • black pepper to taste;
  • 100 ml of sunflower oil;
  • 200 ml green peas (frozen).

Boil the potatoes in the usual way. Add salt and pepper.

While potatoes are boiling, chop parsley and onions and boil a glass of frozen peas in boiling water with salt added for literally 1-2 minutes.

Combine all ingredients, season with oil, taste and, if necessary, add salt / pepper.

6. Mashed potatoes with baked milk

You will need:

  • 1 kg of potatoes;
  • 100 g butter;
  • 1 cup baked milk
  • 4 bay leaves;
  • garlic to taste;
  • allspice to taste (5-6 peas);
  • sea salt.

Make a small bag out of gauze, where you should put the pepper and lavrushka, send it to the pot with potatoes and cook until tender. At the end of cooking, take out a bag, salt the potatoes.

Add the butter, previously heated in the microwave and use a crush to turn the contents of the pan into a puree.

Heat the milk and add a little to the saucepan, bringing the puree to the desired consistency. Then put it on a low heat and beat the puree until it becomes airy.
