Tzhvzhik is a traditional dish of Armenian cuisine. Prepared from offal. The dish is tasty, hearty and healthy. Here's a simple recipe.
It is necessary
- - beef heart - 200 g;
- - beef liver - 200 g;
- - lungs - 200 g;
- - fat tail fat - 100 g;
- - onions - 3 pcs.;
- - tomato paste - 3 tablespoons;
- - salt - 1 tsp;
- - ground black pepper - 0.5 tsp;
- - greens (cilantro, parsley) - 30 g.
Instructions
Step 1
We cleanse the liver from films and remove the bile ducts. We wash the liver, lungs, heart, fat tail fat well with water.
Step 2
Cut the prepared products into small pieces of the same size.
Step 3
Put the meat products in a preheated pan. Fry in sunflower oil until half cooked (8-10 minutes), stirring occasionally.
Step 4
Cut the onion into small cubes. Add onion, tomato paste, chopped herbs, salt and pepper to the meat. Mix well. Reduce heat to low and simmer covered for 20-25 minutes.
