A hearty quick meal

If you like to have a hearty dinner, prepare a meat dish with a cereal side dish. Try to make chicken in sour cream with buckwheat - this combination will appeal not only to adults, but also to children.

You will need:

- 400 g chicken fillet;

- 200 g of champignons;

- 1 glass of buckwheat;

- 1 glass of sour cream;

- 1 large onion;

- salt;

- freshly ground black pepper;

- vegetable oil for frying.

Rinse the buckwheat, put it in a plastic or glass dish, cover with two glasses of water and salt. Place the pot in the microwave. Cook the porridge for 12 minutes at maximum power. Buckwheat will be fluffy and crumbly. When it's done, pour in some vegetable oil and stir.

Wash the chicken fillet, pat dry with a paper towel, remove films and grease. Cut the meat into cubes. Chop the onion into thin half rings. Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan and fry the onion in it until transparent. Add the sliced chicken and mushrooms. Stir and cook for 5 minutes. Then pour the contents of the pan with sour cream, salt and simmer until tender. Sprinkle freshly ground black pepper over the chicken.

The same recipe can be used to cook beef or lean pork.

Put buckwheat and chicken in sour cream on heated plates. Separately, you can serve a salad of fresh or pickled vegetables with vegetable oil.

Dinner for those on a diet

If you've been on a diet all day, don't gorge yourself in the evening. Prepare chicken curry with vegetables - you can boil, bake, or stir-fry them.

You will need:

- 400 g chicken fillet;

- 400 g of cauliflower;

- vegetable oil for frying;

- 1 egg;

- bread crumbs;

- curry mixture;

- salt;

- freshly ground black pepper.

Disassemble the cabbage into small inflorescences, cover with boiling salted water and cook until soft. Throw it in a colander.

Peel the chicken from films, wash and dry. Cut too thick fillet pieces lengthways - this way they cook faster. Season the chicken with salt and curry on both sides.

Place the chicken on a plate and bake in the microwave, after making several punctures on the chicken with a fork. Cooking time depends on the thickness of the piece. It is important not to overdry the chicken, it must remain juicy. Serve the chicken fillet with boiled cabbage.

Instead of chicken, you can bake lean white fish - it also goes well with curry.

If the side dish seems too bland for you, the cauliflower can be fried. Beat the egg and add the breadcrumbs to a plate. Heat vegetable oil or ghee in a deep skillet. Dip the cabbage inflorescences in an egg, then coat them in breadcrumbs and spread in hot fat. Turning over, fry the cabbage on all sides.

Remove it with a slotted spoon and place it on a paper towel so that the glass will have excess oil. This cabbage can be served with sour cream sauce and finely chopped herbs with garlic.
