Such chicken balyk can be made with different alcoholic beverages - whiskey, liqueur or cognac. It always turns out equally tasty. Ordinary breasts turn out just like a real balyk! A great snack for any table.
It is necessary
- - 500 g chicken fillet;
- - 250 g of coarse salt;
- - 50 ml of whiskey or cognac;
- - 1 tbsp. spoonful of pepper mixture.
Instructions
Step 1
First, rinse the chicken breasts (500g - that's about 3 breasts), pat dry with paper towels, or lay them on a towel and wait until they dry naturally.
Step 2
Mix 50 ml of the selected alcohol with salt and pepper. Put half of the mixture in a baking dish, place the chicken breasts on top of it, cover with the rest of the mixture. Cover the form with cling film, put in the refrigerator for 1 day.
Step 3
After a day, take out the form, thoroughly rinse the breasts from salt and spices, otherwise the meat may turn out to be too salty. With a paper towel, blot the water from the chicken fillet, wrap it in cheesecloth or linen napkin. Put it back in the refrigerator for 24 hours.
Step 4
In a day, the chicken fillet balyk is ready - you can taste it. The meat turns out to be incredibly beautiful - it seems to glow! This is an excellent full-fledged appetizer, but you can add such chicken balyk to salads, prepare various other snacks based on it.

Store chicken balyk in the refrigerator wrapped in cheesecloth or linen napkin.
