    • 2 eggs
    • half a glass of sugar
    • 100 g margarine
    • 2 tbsp. tablespoons of mayonnaise
    • 0.5 l of kefir
    • 300 g semolina
    • half a glass of wheat flour
    • a tablespoon of lemon juice
    • half a teaspoon of baking soda

Instructions

Step 1

Grind the yolks from two eggs with half a glass of granulated sugar until white foam. Beat the whites separately with a couple of tablespoons of sugar until a cool foam forms and mix them with the yolks.

Step 2

Heat 100 g of margarine or butter until dissolved and pour into the egg-sugar mixture. The main thing is to make sure that the melted fat is not hot, otherwise the eggs will curl into flakes.

Step 3

Add two tablespoons of mayonnaise and pour in 0.5 liters of kefir. The mass is thoroughly stirred, after which 300 g of semolina and half a glass of sifted flour are poured.

Step 4

Knead the dough well and leave for one hour for the semolina to swell. While it is infused, a form for baking the manna is prepared. Its surface is greased with vegetable oil and sprinkled with semolina, and then turned over to remove excess cereal.

Step 5

In the present dough, add half a spoonful of baking soda, slaked in a tablespoon of lemon juice, and spread it into a prepared form. Manna is baked from kefir in a cool oven for half an hour

Step 6

To determine readiness, pierce it with a match, if the dough does not stick, this means that the manna is baked. It is taken out of the mold onto a dish, cooled, and then sprinkled with powdered sugar with vanilla.
