Sometimes you really want to please yourself with something sweet, but purchased cakes are too high in calories, and homemade cakes take a long time to prepare. But there is one great semolina cake recipe that cooks quickly and tastes great.

Semolina is not only a healthy, but also a tasty food product. Basically, porridge is cooked from semolina, it is well absorbed and digested, filling the body with strength and energy, since it contains valuable vegetable protein.

But with the help of this cereal, you can make a delicate cake, which will undoubtedly delight you and your loved ones, and they will definitely ask you to share the secret of its preparation. This semolina dessert will have different tastes if you come up with a new cream to soak it from time to time.

Ingredients

- kefir, 1 glass;

- flour, 1 glass;

- semolina, 1 glass;

- sugar, 1 glass;

- butter (or margarine), 100 grams;

- chicken egg, 1 pc.;

- soda - on the tip of a knife;

- sour cream, 250 ml.;

- cranberries, 1 tbsp. the spoon;

- granulated sugar, 1 tbsp. the spoon;

-sunflower oil for lubrication

Recipe

First, make a simple manna for the cakes. Take semolina and fill it with fresh kefir, mix everything and set aside to swell for about 20 minutes.

The more the cereal swells, the softer the manna will turn out.

Stir all dry foods: sugar, flour, baking soda and some salt. It is advisable to immediately take a larger dish so that later you can add other products to it without any problems.

Melt the butter and add the egg to it. Whisk and pour the mixture into the swollen semolina. Then beat well again, and then gently and gradually add the flour, stirring until smooth so that there are no lumps.

Grease a mold with sunflower oil and pour the dough into it evenly.

The baking time will depend on your oven, just be careful not to burn the manna.

After the cake is done, let it cool completely.

In the meantime, prepare the cream. To do this, you just need to add cranberries to sour cream and beat with a blender. You can make any other cream to your taste: from berries, fruits, sour cream or jam. You can even combine several variants of the cream, then the cake will turn out to be more refined and unusual.

Cut the manna into three equal cakes and grease them liberally with cream. Top this dessert cake with grated chocolate and nuts. Serve the semolina cake to the table on a large, beautiful platter.
