It happens that there is minced meat in the refrigerator, and you do not know what to cook from it. In this case, a simple recipe for minced meat rolls and vegetables will come to your aid. Such a dish is suitable not only for an everyday table, but also for a festive one.

It is necessary

  • - 600 grams of minced meat,
  • - 300 grams of potatoes,
  • - 2 carrots,
  • - 2 onions,
  • - 1 tbsp. a spoonful of vegetable oil
  • - 25 grams of butter,
  • - 70 grams of hard cheese,
  • - dill to taste,
  • - garlic to taste,
  • - salt to taste,
  • - dry spices to taste.

Instructions

Step 1

Peel the carrots and onions, coarsely grate the carrots, finely chop the onions.

Step 2

Peel the potatoes, wash, boil in water with added salt and make mashed potatoes with butter.

Step 3

Heat one tablespoon of vegetable oil in a skillet and fry the vegetables until tender. Before turning off the heat and removing the vegetables (about 2-3 minutes), season with salt and spices, chill a little.

Step 4

Minced meat, preferably mixed, but you can take from one type of meat, salt and add chopped garlic to it, mix.

Step 5

Place a sheet of foil on the work surface, over which you distribute the minced meat (a layer of minced meat about 2 cm) in the form of a rectangle. Place a layer of potatoes on top of the minced meat. Place a layer of fried vegetables evenly on a layer of potatoes, and use the foil to roll a roll.

Make a roll in the shape of a candy, that is, the edges should be curled, like on a regular caramel.

Step 6

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Place the roll on a baking sheet and bake for 40 minutes.

Finely grate the cheese and mix it with the chopped dill.

After 40 minutes of baking, remove the roll from the oven, remove from the foil and sprinkle with cheese. Place the unwrapped roll in the oven for 10 minutes. Serve the finished roll in portions with sauce or sour cream.
