Tender, slightly bland pork needs to be accompanied by brighter ingredients. Tomatoes are perfectly combined with it, giving the meat a pleasant sourness. It is better to exclude too harsh spices, giving preference to parsley, basil, black pepper.

Pork schnitzels

You will need:

- 2 pork schnitzels;

- 1 small onion;

- 3 tomatoes;

- 400 g of boiled mushrooms;

- 0.5 teaspoons of dried basil;

- olive oil for frying;

- salt;

- freshly ground black pepper.

Peel and chop the onion. Rinse the schnitzels, pat dry with a paper towel and rub with a mixture of onions, salt, freshly ground pepper and dried basil. Fry the meat in a not too hot skillet, then transfer it to a plate and place in a warm place.

Scald the tomatoes with boiling water, remove the skin. Finely chop one and a half tomatoes and simmer with a little oil in a frying pan where the schnitzels were fried. Add salt and pepper. Cut the remaining tomatoes into slices and also lightly fry. Chop the mushrooms into thin slices and fry in a separate pan.

Pour the stewed tomato sauce into a mold, put the schnitzels on top. Cover each with plastic cheese and place in oven preheated to 180 ° C. When the cheese is melted, transfer the pork to warmed plates on top of the sauteed tomatoes. Place mushrooms nearby.

Chop with tomatoes and cheese

You will need:

- 2 pieces of pork loin (300-350 g each);

- 50 g of semi-hard cheese;

- 1 large tomato;

- 1 onion;

- olive oil;

- salt and ground black pepper.

Beat the loin pieces, sprinkle with salt and freshly ground pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet and fry the meat in it until golden brown. Cut the cheese into slices, the tomatoes into thin slices. Chop the onion into rings.

Transfer the pork to a greased pan. Place onion rings on top of each slice, cover them with tomato slices and cheese plastics. Place the mold in an oven preheated to 180 ° C. Cook until cheese is melted. Serve with chilled white wine and fresh cereal bread.
