Pancakes with boiling water are also called custard. They are prepared very quickly, eaten even faster, because the "suns" are tasty, bright and beautiful. Thanks to the steaming with hot water, the baked pancakes are airy, thin, but very durable. They are great for stuffing with any filling: meat, mushroom, fruit and even chocolate. Hot pancakes can be served beautifully in the form of envelopes with berries or bags tied with onion feathers.

It is necessary

  • Products:
  • • Wheat flour - 650-750 grams
  • • Milk - 1000 ml
  • • Water - 800 ml
  • • Chicken egg - 4 pcs.
  • • Vegetable oil (deodorized, refined) - 75 ml.
  • • Granulated sugar - 100-125 grams
  • • Salt -1 tsp.
  • Inventory:
  • • Pan for pancakes
  • • Brush for smearing
  • • Pot for water
  • • Mixing bowl

Instructions

Step 1

The flour is sifted into a bowl, milk is added, but not the entire volume of milk at once, but divided into 2-3 doses. The resulting thick mixture is thoroughly mixed, rubbing the lumps. The consistency of the dough will be similar to sour cream. To prepare pancakes on boiling water, instead of milk, you can use whey from cottage cheese or fermented milk products such as kefir or fermented baked milk.

Step 2

Chicken eggs are broken into a separate bowl, after checking them for freshness. Beat eggs well with a mixer or whisk. Pour water into a saucepan and bring it to a boil. As soon as the water boils, then prepared table salt and sugar are dissolved in it. The solution is constantly stirred and as soon as the salt and sugar dissolve, remove the uncovered pot of boiling water from the stove and set it aside.

Step 3

Slightly cooled boiling water is poured into the milk-flour mixture in a thin stream, without ceasing to interfere. Then add beaten eggs and vegetable oil to the mixture. The resulting dough should be allowed to "rest" for 15 minutes and you can start baking pancakes in the traditional way.

Step 4

Pancakes are baked in a well-heated skillet. In order for them not to stick to the surface, it is recommended to grease the pan with a thin layer of oil before the first pancake; before the rest, you do not need to grease, since vegetable oil is added to the dough.
