Instructions

Step 1

Place whole chicken in a saucepan, sprinkle with ground ginger, cover with mineral water and 1 tbsp. soy sauce, season with your favorite spices as desired, then leave to stand for 2-3 hours.

Step 2

Grate one onion on a coarse grater and put it in a bowl. Finely chop the garlic with a knife and add to the grated onion.

Step 3

Season the onion-garlic mass with turmeric and paprika, pour over the remaining soy sauce, mix.

Step 4

After 3 hours, remove the chicken from the marinade and transfer to a baking dish. Wrap the tips of its wings with foil so that they do not burn when baking. And completely coat the carcass with a mixture of spices, onions and garlic.

Cut the second onion into half rings. Peel the grapefruit and divide it into slices by hand, and cut the slices themselves into large pieces.
