Baked potatoes with bacon - especially if it is with layers - is very tasty. Your man is unlikely to refuse such a dish, and you will have no choice but to go for a supplement.
It is necessary
- - 300 grams of potatoes,
- - 200 grams of lard,
- - 1 onion,
- - 1 small carrot,
- - red ground pepper to taste,
- - ground black pepper to taste,
- - salt to taste,
- - 0, 5 tbsp. tablespoons of sunflower oil.
Instructions
Step 1
Cut a piece of bacon (preferably with a layer) into strips or cubes - if desired. Transfer the bacon to a baking dish.
Step 2
Cut the peeled onion into thin half rings (you can use quarter rings). Cut the carrots into cubes. Place the onions and carrots in a dish over the lard. Season with salt and pepper to taste. If you feel yellow, you can add some turmeric and dried herbs.
Step 3
Peel the potatoes, rinse, dry, cut into small cubes. Place the potatoes on top of the carrots and onions. Top with sunflower oil and stir. It is best to stir with your hands, but if you do not want to get your hands dirty in the oil, then use a spoon or spatula. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 4
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
Step 5
Cover the dish with potatoes and lard with foil. Place the dish in the oven, bake for 30 minutes. Then remove the tin, remove the foil and bake for another 30 minutes.
Step 6
Serve ready-made potatoes in portioned plates along with homemade pickles and fresh herbs.
