Young potatoes baked with lard are a great option for both a full lunch and a hearty side dish. These potatoes are best cooked on the grill and served with fresh vegetables.
It is necessary
- - young potatoes of medium size (4-8 pcs.);
- - fresh dill to taste;
- - fresh parsley to taste;
- –Salted lard with layers of meat (120 g);
- - ground pepper and salt to taste;
- -vegetable oil;
- - garlic to taste.
Instructions
Step 1
Rinse the potatoes thoroughly and peel them off with a sharp knife. If the skin is very thin, just peel the potatoes well on top. Cut each potato crosswise into circles at least 2 cm thick. Put the prepared potatoes for a while in a deep bowl, pre-salt and stir.
Step 2
Cut the bacon into thin slices. Do not forget to cut the thick skin from the bacon. Rinse and chop the dill and parsley thoroughly. Stir in the herbs and chopped garlic mixture, then add the pepper.
Step 3
Grease a baking sheet evenly with vegetable oil. Lay out the potato slices. Place half a teaspoon of the herb and seasoning mixture on each slice. Next, cover this layer with a plate of bacon. Cover the top again with potatoes.
Step 4
Take toothpicks or thin wooden sticks and pierce the potatoes. This will prevent the dish from falling apart during the cooking process. Place the baking sheet in the oven, which should be preheated to 180 degrees. After 20-30 minutes, the dish will be ready.
Step 5
In addition to potatoes, you can serve a sauce based on sour cream and herbs. This will make the dish more nutritious. Also, this dish goes well with cucumber and bell pepper salad.
