Probably, many people think that there is a certain contradiction in the very name of this dessert. After all, cakes usually consist of cake layers and delicate cream, and ice cream is a completely different product. However, as soon as you taste a slice of homemade cake, you will realize how amazing the combination of cold ice cream and a biscuit melting on the tongue is.
Cooking cakes
- Prepare the oven in advance, your further actions should be quick and accurate. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees, at this time take out a medium-sized cake pan and grease it with oil. Be sure to pour some flour into the mold and spread it over the surface. This is necessary so that the finished cake does not stick to the walls and bottom of the mold.

- Remove the cake carefully from the mold and cut it into two equal pieces. One part will turn out darker, the other - light. Now wrap each of them with cling film and put them in the refrigerator. The cakes should be cold.
- While the cake base is cooling, prepare a layer of ice cream. You will need one kilogram of your favorite ice cream. You can use chocolate, berry, or fruit. Place the melted mass in a large bowl and stir it with a spoon until it looks like a paste.
- Now take the cakes out of the refrigerator and place the ice cream on top of them. First, place half of the mass on one crust, cover it with the second crust and top with the remaining mass. Wrap the cake in plastic wrap and refrigerate.
