Thai beef is a classic Thai dish. The meat turns out to be incredibly tasty and tender. And not quite ordinary sauce gives the taste unique notes. When cooking, be sure to use peanut or sesame oil, and make rice noodles as a side dish.
It is necessary
- • 400 g of beef;
- • 1 chili pepper;
- • 5 garlic cloves;
- • 6 tablespoons of soy sauce;
- • cilantro;
- • ground black pepper;
- • 3 tablespoons of sesame or peanut butter;
- • 5 pieces of sweet pepper (you need a multi-colored one);
- • 2 heads of red onions;
- • ginger (root length should be 4 centimeters);
- • 2 teaspoons of starch;
- • basil;
- • green onions.
Instructions
Step 1
Well washed beef should be cut into thin slices and placed in a deep bowl.
Prepare the marinade. To do this, stir in the vegetable oil, soy sauce, and black peppercorns in a separate cup. Pour the resulting marinade over the meat.
Step 2
Wash the bell peppers well and remove the seeds and stalk. Then, using a knife, cut it into thin strips. Chili peppers are also washed and the stalk is removed. Cut it into thin slices.
Step 3
The husks must be removed from the bulbs and rinsed thoroughly in cold water. Then they need to be cut into thin feathers.
Step 4
Remove the peel from the ginger root and rinse thoroughly. It is cut into strips. The garlic cloves are peeled, washed and cut into small cubes. Rinse the greens, let the water drain and chop finely.
Dissolve 4 tablespoons of soy sauce and starch in 100 g of water.
Step 5
Place the wok (can be replaced with a deep frying pan) on a hot stove and pour in the oil. When it warms up, add the beef and sauté with regular stirring until the surface of the meat is browned.
Step 6
Next, add garlic, onion and ginger to the wok. Fry everything for 3 minutes, not forgetting to mix well. Place the peppers in a wok and cook for 3 minutes (they should remain crispy).
Step 7
Now you need to add a solution of starch with water to vegetables with meat. Wait a couple of minutes until the sauce is thick and then remove the wok from the stove. Immediately after that, add chopped herbs to the dish, stir.
