Summer has begun, which means it's time to preserve all sorts of goodies for the winter. According to this recipe, cucumbers are rolled into liter jars, which is very important for small families. Cucumbers are hard and crunchy, they are stored for a long time and reliably.

It is necessary

  • Ingredients per liter jar:
  • Fresh cucumbers - 7-8 pcs.
  • Salt - 1 tablespoon
  • Granulated sugar - 1 des.l.
  • Table vinegar (9%) - 40 g
  • Black peppercorns - 3-5 pcs.
  • Garlic - 2-3 teeth.
  • Horseradish (leaves) - 1 pc.
  • Dill (umbrellas) - 1-2 pcs.
  • Bay leaf - 1-2 pcs.
  • From dishes: jars, metal lids, a saucepan, a large bowl, a knife, a spoon, a drain lid (preferably), a rolling machine.

Instructions

Step 1

First of all, we prepare cucumbers. To begin with, carefully wash the vegetables, select only whole and hard fruits. I do not want to repeat myself, but the cucumbers must be soaked in cold water for at least 4, or better 6-8 hours, then they will retain their "crispy properties" and the jars with such cucumbers will stand for a long time and reliably.

Step 2

Now let's prepare the banks. We sterilize the washed cans for a couple of 5 minutes each. We throw the lids into boiling water and sterilize them together with the jars. While the jars are warming up, clean the garlic, wash the spices. Cut large cloves of garlic lengthwise.

Step 3

At the bottom of each jar with a capacity of 1 liter, put a horseradish leaf, dill, garlic, peppercorns. You can put 1-2 leaves of cherry and black currant. Now we tamp the jar with cucumbers. Pour the filled cans with boiling water "with a slide", cover with a lid, and leave for 5-10 minutes. While the water in the cans is cooling down, we boil the next portion of water for re-filling. Drain the cooled water, put salt, sugar directly into the jar and add vinegar. Pour boiling water a second time, roll up the cans. Wipe the neck of the jar with a towel and check that there is no liquid. If the marinade leaks, roll it up a second time, otherwise the brine will darken and the can will "fly up". Well, by tradition, turn the blanks upside down and wrap them in a blanket. Banks will be able to cool slowly slowly.
