Baked turkey legs in spices

Ingredients:

- 5 turkey drumsticks;

- 900 ml of water;

- 1/2 tbsp. white and brown sugar;

- 1/2 tbsp. fine salt;

- 1 tsp seasoning mixtures for chicken or turkey + 1 tbsp. for the marinade;

- 1 tbsp. ground dried chili;

- 1 tsp each onion salt and paprika;

- 1 bay leaf;

- vegetable oil.

Pour water into a saucepan and place over high heat. Pour both types of sugar, salt, 1 tbsp into the bowl. seasoning and toss in the bay leaf. Boil the marinade and immediately remove from the stove. Cool it down and transfer to a bowl or container. Immerse the turkey drumsticks there and refrigerate for 4-8 hours.

Remove the marinated cuts of meat from the fragrant liquid, rinse and pat dry with paper towels. In a bowl, combine the ground chili, paprika, seasoning mixture, and onion salt. Grate the resulting mixture on the bird and place on a baking sheet, greased with vegetable oil. Bake the turkey legs in an oven preheated to 200oC for 20-25 minutes, then reduce the temperature to 170oC and simmer the dish for another 15-20 minutes.

Crispy turkey legs in honey marinade

Ingredients:

- 4 large turkey drumsticks;

- 500 ml of water;

- 80 g of honey;

- 1 lemon;

- 6-8 peas of black pepper;

- 1/2 tbsp. salt;

For the sauce:

- 100 g of butter;

- 3/4 tsp each curry, ground paprika and oregano;

- 1/2 tsp salt.

Squeeze lemon juice and pour into a large container. Add honey, peppercorns and salt there and stir well. Top up the marinade with water, dip the turkey legs into it and leave for 12-24 hours. Soften the butter by keeping it at room temperature for 30-40 minutes. Whisk it with salt and spices.

Remove the drumsticks from the marinade, pat dry on a tray or cutting board, and place in an oiled ovenproof dish. Take a cooking brush, dip it in the sauce, and generously spread the poultry chunks on all sides. Set the oven temperature to 180oC and cook the dish for 30 minutes, then increase the heat to 220oC and brown the legs for 10-15 minutes.

A simple recipe for baked turkey legs

Ingredients:

- 2 turkey drumsticks;

- 100 ml 33-35% cream;

- 2 cloves of garlic;

- 1/2 tsp ground white pepper;

- 1 tsp salt.

Peel the garlic cloves and chop finely. Make cuts in the turkey meat and stuff the legs with garlic. Rub them with salt and pepper, place in a mold, pour over with cream and cover with foil. Place the dish in the oven at 180oC for 40 minutes, then remove the silver paper and bake the turkey drumsticks for another 15 minutes at 200-220oC.
