If you prefer tender poultry, you can use turkey instead of the usual chicken. Its pulp is considered to be very useful for the human body. This is why it is included in many wellness diets. Turkey legs, for example, baked in the oven with potatoes, are incredibly tasty and aromatic.

It is necessary

  • - turkey legs - 4 pcs.;
  • - potatoes - 8-10 pcs.;
  • - onions - 2 pcs.;
  • - carrots - 1 pc.;
  • - liquid honey - 4 tbsp. l.;
  • - garlic - 2 cloves;
  • - soy sauce - 2 tbsp. l.;
  • - sunflower oil - 4 tbsp. l.;
  • - ground black pepper;
  • - salt;
  • - lemon - 0.5 pcs.;

Instructions

Step 1

Rinse the turkey legs under running water and pat dry with paper towels. Then prepare a marinade for them. Peel the garlic cloves and crush through a press.

Step 2

Place the legs in a bowl and sprinkle with garlic, black pepper and salt. Add runny honey, soy sauce, and sunflower oil. Mix everything together well, cover with cling film or a lid and put the bowl with the preparation in the refrigerator for several hours.

When the time is up, peel the potatoes, carrots and onions. Chop 4 or 6 pieces of potatoes (depending on size), carrots into circles and onions into thick rings.

Now take a baking sheet and brush it with sunflower oil. Place potatoes and carrots in it. Sprinkle them with black pepper and salt. Spread the onion rings on top.

Step 5

Then remove the marinated turkey legs and place them on top of the vegetables, which can be brushed with the rest of the honey-soy marinade if desired. Cover the mold with foil, securing the edges. And then turn on the oven and set the temperature to 200 degrees. When it warms up enough, send the blank into it for 45 minutes.

After the time has elapsed, remove the form, carefully remove the foil and bake the dish for another 15-20 minutes so that it becomes covered with an appetizing golden brown crust. After that, check the potatoes for readiness - if they are soft, then the food can be taken out. If not, then hold it for another 10 minutes.

Arrange the finished turkey legs with potatoes in portions, sprinkle them with lemon juice and serve along with fresh tomatoes, sprinkling with fresh chopped herbs.
