Put the butter in the freezer. It should be firm so that it is easy to grate.

Turn on the oven to preheat to 180 C. When you put the cake to bake, the oven must be preheated.

Combine dry ingredients: sifted flour, semolina, baking powder and sugar.

Grate all apples on a coarse grater, sprinkle with cinnamon.
Choose juicy apples, otherwise the cake will be dry.
Delicious and juicy apples are the key to a delicious pie! Instead of cinnamon, if desired, apples can be mixed with lemon or orange zest, lemon juice.

Prepare a baking dish. No need to lubricate. We will lay out in turn: a layer of dry mixture and grated apples.

The first layer is a dry mixture of about 4 tablespoons.
The second layer is grated apples (approximately 1-2 cm thick).
The next layer is again a dry mixture, covering the entire area of the cake, etc.
The last layer must be dry.
Approximately three dry layers and two layers of apples are obtained.
