Cooking tart with strawberries
Put the flour in a slide on the table, make a depression in the center, break an egg into this depression, add softened butter, add sugar and salt. Knead the dough, moisten it with cold water. The dough should be elastic and smooth.
Roll the dough ball into a layer and wrap it with cling film. Refrigerate for 20 minutes. Next, put the dough on the bottom of the mold, form the base and sides, bake at 200 degrees for 10-12 minutes. To prevent swelling in the center of the dough, use a weighting agent (for example, dry peas or beans).
Chop the strawberries and mix them with lemon juice, cornstarch, sugar and fresh thyme. Place the filling in the base and place in the oven for 15 minutes. After the time has elapsed, refrigerate at room temperature.
Make a syrup. Bring the ingredients for the syrup to a boil, cook until the syrup is quite thick and glossy. Pour it over the filling. Chill the strawberry tart before serving.
