Creamy buns with thyme, mozzarella and sun-dried tomatoes turn out to be very tasty, hearty, perfect for breakfast.
It is necessary
- - 250 ml cream
- - 250 g wheat flour
- - 30 g butter
- - 20 g brown sugar
- - 1 tsp salt
- - 5 g baking powder
- - 10 g thyme
- - 100 g sun-dried tomatoes
- - 150 g mozzarella
Instructions
Step 1
First preheat the oven to 190C. In a bowl, use a wooden spoon to grind the softened butter with thyme and brown sugar, pour in the cream and stir.
Step 2
Pour about ½ cup from the flour and set aside, and sift the rest, then mix with baking powder and salt. Combine with a butter and butter mixture and knead with a wooden spoon, then with your hands. The dough should be very soft and slightly sticky to your hands.
Step 3
Sprinkle flour on the table, as well as hands, dough and rolling pin, then roll out the dough about 4-8 mm thick.
Step 4
Now cut out the round cakes with a round glass. Cut each on three sides. Put a piece of mozzarella and sun-dried tomato in the middle, wrap the sides of the dough in turn so that you end up with a nice "tulip", sprinkle the mozzarella with thyme-lemon salt on top, garnish with a sprig of fresh thyme.
Step 5
Transfer the resulting buns to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and send to a preheated oven. Bake the buns for about 25 minutes, until golden brown.
Step 6
After baking, chill the buns a little, garnish with thyme sprigs and taste.
