These delicious rolls are a great breakfast and a hearty snack. You can give them to your child to school, take them to work, or cook them for dinner. As a filling, you can use both ham, sausages or sausage. The cooking process is very simple!

It is necessary

  • - flour - 500 g;
  • - butter or margarine - 200 g;
  • - milk - 250 ml;
  • - sugar - 1 tbsp. the spoon;
  • - yeast - 30 g;
  • - egg - 1 piece;
  • - salt - to taste;
  • - ground red pepper - to taste.
  • Filling:
  • - ham - 150 g;
  • - cheese - 100 g.

Instructions

Step 1

Knead the yeast and dissolve in milk, preheated to 30-40 degrees. Add sugar and 2 tablespoons of flour, stir thoroughly. Cover the mixture with a lid and put it in a warm place for 20 minutes.

Step 2

Beat the egg with a fork. Add salt and ground pepper. You can add a little soup seasoning or other spices. Mix everything thoroughly without beating. Then mix with melted or softened butter (or butter margarine). In this case, butter or margarine must be at room temperature - if you melted it, let it cool.

Step 3

Mix the mixture from point 1 with the mixture from point 2. Pour into pre-sifted flour and knead the hard dough. If it sticks to your hands, grease your hands with vegetable oil or dust it a little with flour. We do not add a lot of flour - the dough should remain elastic. Then we put it in a saucepan, cover it with a lid and a towel and put it in a warm place for an hour and a half - until its volume approximately doubles.

Step 4

Knead the dough that has come up and roll it out to a thickness of about 5 mm. We cut the resulting layer into identical small squares. On each of them we spread a thin slice of ham, sprinkled with grated cheese. We turn the squares into rolls.

Step 5

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Put the rolls on a baking sheet lined with baking paper or oiled. We grease each of them with a loose egg. Put in the oven and bake until golden-yellow crust is formed.
