Chicken fillet with basil sauce turns out to be very tender and juicy, and the taste is simply amazing. It will take very little time to prepare this dish.
Ingredients:
- Chicken fillet - 350 g;
- Milk - 120 ml;
- Chicken broth - 250 ml;
- Olive oil - 60 ml;
- Lemon - 1 pc;
- Basil and parsley greens - ½ bunch each;
- Wheat flour - 40 g;
- Lettuce greens - 10 sheets;
- Ground black pepper and salt.
Preparation:
- Rinse the chicken fillet thoroughly in cold running water, then divide it into medium-sized pieces of 3-4 cm with a knife.
- Put pieces of chicken breast in a preheated pan, add salt and a little black pepper. Stir the meat regularly and fry at high temperature for about 8-10 minutes.
- If the basil is fresh, it must be thoroughly rinsed and chopped.
- Pour wheat flour into a dry preheated frying pan, sauté until golden brown.
- Re-bring the meat broth to a boil, then add flour, basil, salt. Stir everything thoroughly, crush the lumps. Keep on low heat for about 6 minutes.
- Wash the lemon thoroughly.
- Bring the future sauce to a boil, then add lemon juice and granulated sugar, stirring continuously so that the mixture does not burn.
- Cool the prepared sauce a little and pour into a pan with fried chicken fillet.
- Re-put the dish on medium heat and simmer for about 10 minutes. After the specified time has elapsed, reduce the temperature of the stove, add a little warm water to the pan, close the lid, leave until fully cooked.
- Before serving, place the meat on lettuce leaves and season with chopped herbs.
