  • - honey - 2 tablespoons;
  • - water (or juice from apples and pumpkin) - 25 ml.

Step 1

To prepare a raw food cake with figs, you will need a special kitchen helper - a dehydrator. This is a device for drying vegetables and fruits. If there is no such house, you can dry the cake in the oven at the lowest temperature and the oven door ajar. But for a raw foodist, it's better to buy a dehydrator with a temperature selection function.

Step 2

First, let's prepare the base of the cake or crust. To do this, squeeze juice from peeled apples and pumpkin pulp. For this purpose, it is better to use a juicer, since we will only use cake, and the juice will not be needed, or, if we decide to replace the water with juice, only 25 ml will be needed. And the pomace is needed as dry as possible.

Step 3

So, mix the apple-pumpkin cake with peeled pumpkin seeds pre-ground in a coffee grinder. Can also be used

peeled sunflower seeds. The only condition is that the seeds must be raw, in no case fried.

Step 4

Add unroasted carob to the mixture of crushed seeds and cake and mix thoroughly.

We spread the resulting thick mass on a dehydrator sheet and level it into a round cake no more than 1 centimeter thick.

Next, we prepare the cream. To do this, grind peeled seeds in a coffee grinder, add water or juice and liquid honey. Stir, lightly whisking with a spoon. We spread this cream in an even layer on the cake.

Step 6

On top we decorate the cake with sliced slices of fresh figs. We place the cake in a dehydrator, where we dry it for 6 hours.

You can take longer to dry a raw food cake with figs, for example, leave it in the dehydrator for 10 hours or overnight.

Cut the finished cake into portions and serve with some raw food drink.
