Laddu is an Indian sweet, especially useful for women, since its chemical composition has a positive effect on hormonal levels, improving the condition of the skin, hair, as well as mood and overall health. Laddu consists of only three main components, it is easy to prepare and does not take so long.
It is necessary
- - pea flour - 7 tablespoons;
- - butter - 50 g;
- - sugar - 5 - 7 tbsp.
Instructions
Step 1
To make laddu, you need pea flour, which can be purchased at the store or made yourself from split peas using a regular coffee grinder or a special mill. Measure seven
tablespoons of pea flour, picking it up with a small slide.
Step 2
In a dry skillet, over high heat and stirring constantly, fry the pea flour until slightly darkened and a nutty flavor appears.
Step 3
Reduce heat to medium and add sugar to the skillet. You can also add saffron or ground cardamom as a flavoring agent if desired.
Stir constantly the mixture until the granulated sugar dissolves.
Step 4
You can now add the diced butter. Then reduce the heat to low and, constantly stirring the mass, wait until the butter melts and mixes with the rest of the ingredients, thus forming
the most homogeneous thick mixture.
Step 5
Remove the skillet from the heat and immediately transfer the mass to a pre-greased dish with vegetable oil. It can be a small plastic container with low sides or several curly shapes.

Step 6
Cool the mixture at room temperature, then refrigerate.
Ready-made laddu are quite dense, they can easily withstand room temperature, but it is still recommended to store them in the refrigerator.
Step 7
Remove the sweetness from the mold and cut into squares or diamonds. Serve your ladda with unsweetened tea or coffee.
