The airy crunchy biscuits made from quick rolled oats are like lace. Ready-made cookies can be decorated with chocolate - just melt them, dip cookies in them, or make a pattern on top with thin chocolate threads.

It is necessary

  • - 1 glass of quick rolled oats;
  • - 1 cup of sugar;
  • - 4 tbsp. tablespoons of flour;
  • - 100 g of butter;
  • - 1 egg;
  • - 1 teaspoon of vanilla;
  • - 1/2 teaspoon of salt;
  • - 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder.

Instructions

Step 1

Set the oven to warm up to 170 degrees in advance. Cover the baking sheet with foil, then grease with butter, you can sprinkle it with a special cooking spray.

Step 2

Whisk the sugar and butter at room temperature in a deep bowl until the mixture is fluffy and light. Add raw egg, vanillin. Separately mix the instant oatmeal flour, salt and baking powder. Add this flour mass to the oil mixture, mix quickly.

Step 3

Put the resulting dough on a baking sheet - spread with a teaspoon at a distance of 5 centimeters from each other, the dough will spread during cooking. Place the baking sheet in a preheated oven.

Step 4

Bake the lacy oatmeal cookies for 10-12 minutes, until the edges are pleasantly golden brown. After that, cool the cookies right on the baking sheet, carefully remove from the foil with your fingers. If you don't have all the dough on the baking sheet, remember to grease it again for the next batch of cookies.

Step 5

Cooled lacy oatmeal cookies can be garnished with melted chocolate, although they look pretty in and of themselves. Can be served with tea or milk for breakfast.
