The multicooker is a faithful assistant to the housewife in the kitchen, making it easy to create many delicious dishes. After setting the necessary modes, the "smart" device will prepare food itself, for example, traditional dumplings, while you are doing other things or relaxing. Flour products in a multicooker can be boiled, steamed, fried and baked.
Boiled and steam dumplings in a slow cooker
Pour enough water into the multicooker (depending on the volume of the appliance), for example 1.5 liters. Top with table salt, bay leaves, black sweet peas, and other seasonings as desired. Then bring the liquid to a boil, setting the "Soup" mode on the appliance. Immerse a portion of frozen or freshly prepared dumplings in boiling water and stir well so that they do not stick together.
Close the multicooker, and after a few minutes open the lid and stir the brew again. Cook the flour products for 10 minutes. Using the same model, you can cook some other dough products with filling from national cuisines in a multicooker, for example, Russian dumplings and Georgian khinkali - the latter must be cooked in one layer, so there must be enough water in the container.
To prevent the finished flour products from sticking to the dish, pour a glass of ice water into boiling water before taking them out. When the broth boils again, remove the dumplings with a slotted spoon.
The recipe for steam dumplings is even simpler: pour water into the multicooker, install the special sieve that is included in the kit. After that, generously grease its inner surface with vegetable oil (or dip flour products in it one by one) and put the dumplings on the bottom. Set the "Steam cooking" mode. After 20 minutes, the dish will be ready.
Fried and baked dumplings in a slow cooker
One of the easiest ways to quickly and deliciously prepare dumplings is to fry them in a multicooker in sunflower or butter. To do this, set the "Baking" mode and fry flour products for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Such a dish is already ready to eat. If you want to make it more juicy, you can pour the dumplings with hot broth, boiling water or sour cream and keep them in a slow cooker for another 10 minutes in the "stewing" mode.
The functionality of some modern multicooker includes a special "Pelmeni" mode. Using it, you can be sure that the flour products will not stick together and will not be overcooked.
Great baked dumplings can be made in just 15 min. Put frozen or fresh convenience foods in a slow cooker, then make a simple sauce: stir 4 tablespoons of fat sour cream (at least 20%) in 0.5 cups of water. Fill the dumplings with the resulting substance and bake until the end of the program. When 3-5 minutes remain before turning off the multicooker, fill the dumplings with grated cheese.
