Krostaty is called Italian pie, about which Nikolai Vasilyevich Gogol spoke extremely flatteringly. Crostatu is made with different fillings. I suggest you bake it with apples and Cheddar cheese. The baked goods are amazingly tasty!
It is necessary
- - apples - 3 pcs.;
- - wheat flour - 1 glass;
- - butter - 130 g;
- - brown sugar - 2 tablespoons;
- - water - 1, 5 tablespoons;
- - vanilla sugar - 2 teaspoons;
- - egg yolk - 1 pc.;
- - white sugar - 1 teaspoon;
- - salt - 0.25 teaspoon;
- - ground cinnamon - 0.25 teaspoon;
- - ground ginger - 0.25 teaspoon;
- - Cheddar cheese - to taste;
- - lemon juice.
Instructions
Step 1
Combine wheat flour with the following ingredients: granulated sugar, salt and vanilla sugar. Chop 115 grams of butter into fairly small pieces with a knife, add it to the bowl to the mixture formed. Mix this mass using a fork.
Step 2
Add water to the resulting mass along with raw egg yolk. These ingredients will give the dough plasticity. After rolling it into a ball, refrigerate for one hour. Do not forget to wrap the dough with either plastic or cling film.
Step 3
In a separate cup, combine ingredients such as brown sugar, ground ginger and cinnamon.
Step 4
Place a sheet of parchment paper on top of a greased baking dish. Place the chilled dough on it. Having distributed it along the bottom, form small sides for the apple crostata. Keep it in the refrigerator for a while.
Step 5
Chop the peeled fruit pulp into slices, then sprinkle with a little lemon juice. After transferring the apples to the dough, pour the dry mixture of brown sugar, ground cinnamon and ginger onto them. Spread the remaining butter over the top of the cake.
Step 6
In the oven, cook the krostat at 180 degrees on the bottom rack for 40 minutes. When the time is up, place the sliced Cheddar cheese on top of the pie and bake for another 10 minutes.
Step 7
Cut the baked goods cooled at room temperature into pieces. The apple crostata with cheese is ready!
