The secret of French onion soup is leisurely. You will do everything as in slow motion film, thoroughly and slowly.

So are you ready? Then let's go, or rather - crawled.

For a culinary masterpiece you will need:

  • four medium onions;
  • 125 grams of oil;
  • medium head of hard cheese;
  • toast.

This is enough for four servings. Although, of course, everything is relative, depending on how hungry you are.

Start by cutting the onion into strips, taking the right amount of oil by eye and sending the whole thing to a saucepan to simmer under a lid over low heat.
