- For the dough: flour - 850 g; vanilla sugar - 1/2 sachet, salt - 1.5 tsp; vegetable oil - 180 ml; sugar - 100 g; fresh pressed yeast - 55 g; warm water - 1, 5 glasses.
- For the filling: sugar - 1 tsp; salt - 2 tsp; cabbage - 1.5 kg.

Step 1
To make yeast dough pies, it is better to knead the dough in the evening so that it comes up in the refrigerator at night. In a large saucepan, knead the yeast, sugar, warm water. Add vanilla sugar, salt and butter. Stir and sprinkle flour in portions. Knead well to make it soft and not sticky to your hands.

Cover the pot with a lid and refrigerate overnight. In the morning, chop the cabbage, heat the oil in a large frying pan, add the cabbage there. Stir, salt and sugar. Cover, set on low heat and simmer.

After a few minutes, pepper, add 2 bay leaves, stir. Simmer until the cabbage is tender. Sprinkle with garam masala at the end if available, or add chopped dill.

Let's make pies from yeast dough, remove the dough from the refrigerator. Roll into 4 cm balls and place them on a pre-oiled table. Observe the distance between them.

Cover with a towel and let sit for 15 minutes. Turn on the oven if the kitchen is cool then the dough will fit better. If it's hot, you can turn it on when you start sculpting pies. After the allotted time, the dough will increase in volume.

Sprinkle flour on the table, take a ball and flatten it a little. Pull all the edges towards the center so that the cakes can be shaped smooth and beautiful. Pinch the edges of the patties, press them inward. Flatten the ball with your palm and roll it out a little with a rolling pin.
Step 7
Fill the yeast dough pies with the filling. A tablespoon for each will be enough. Pinch the edges like dumplings. Now pull on both ends, bring them together and pinch. Thus, you will form the bottom.
Step 8
Place the yeast dough pies on a baking sheet, seam side down. Fill the entire surface with them, leaving gaps. If you want a nice crust, brush the tops with sweetened milk.
Step 9
Preheat oven to 190oC and bake for 15 minutes until golden brown. Lean yeast dough pies are ready. You can transfer them to a towel and add another batch to a baking sheet. Until they cool completely, do not stack them on top of each other.
