Their preparation is a real sacred rite, but no matter how successfully they are prepared, it is impossible to truly feel and appreciate the taste of fried meat without vegetables. They can also be grilled and while the meat is roasting, make a delicious snack out of them.

  • Tomatoes - 7 pieces;
  • Bulgarian peppers - 5 pieces;
  • Large eggplants - 2 pieces;
  • Large onions - 1 piece;
  • Green onions - 1 bunch;
  • Fresh greens - cilantro

  • Garlic 3-4 cloves;
  • Olive oil;
  • Salt
  • pepper.

    Step 1

    Wash tomatoes, peppers and eggplants in cold running water and pat dry with a paper towel. Rub each vegetable with olive oil, pouring it into the palm of your hand. Use a fork to prick them in several places and place them on the wire rack. Fry them for 20-30 minutes, turning over all the time.

    Step 2

    When the vegetables are cooked through, remove them from the wire rack and place them in a saucepan under the lid or in a plastic bag for 5-10 minutes to make them easier to peel.

    Step 3

    Peel the vegetables. Remove the skin from tomatoes and peppers, remove the stalks. Remove seeds and partitions from peppers. Cut off the tails of eggplants, cut off the skin with a sharp knife.

    Step 4

    Peel and chop the onions and place them in a large bowl. Cut the vegetables into small cubes, chop the green onions and herbs, finely chop the garlic with a knife. Put everything in a bowl, season with salt, pepper and olive oil.

    Step 5

    If you are not outdoors, then cook at home. Wash, oil and puncture them. Wrap each one in a piece of foil, making sure that it fits snugly against their surface.

    Step 6

    Preheat the oven to 180-200 ° C, place the vegetables on the wire rack and cook for 30 minutes. Then turn off the oven and let them sit inside for a while. Prepare a vegetable snack from them as described above. At home, you will have the opportunity to chill it in the refrigerator - this will only make it tastier.
