Fideua is a Spanish dish that resembles paella. Cooking technology and some of the products used are similar. However, there is still a difference: rice is used for paella, and vermicelli for fideua.

It is necessary

  • - rabbit fillet - 400 g;
  • - chicken fillet - 400 g;
  • - onions - 100 g;
  • - tomatoes - 200 g;
  • - vermicelli - 200 g;
  • - garlic - 2 cloves;
  • - olive oil - to taste;
  • - salt, oregano, red and black peppers - to taste.

Instructions

Step 1

Prepare the tomatoes initially. Wash the vegetables, remove the stalks, make a cruciform cut on the back. Soak them in boiling water for 20 seconds, then immerse them in ice water. Next, remove the skins from the tomatoes and cut into small cubes.

Step 2

Peel the onions and garlic cloves. Prepare the onion in half rings, and first crush the garlic with a knife blade, then chop finely. Rinse the pepper, free from seeds and partitions, cut into strips.

Step 3

Take out the frying pan, heat it over the fire with the oil, add the onion cubes. After bringing the onion to a transparent state, add tomato cubes to it. Simmer the food together until the liquid evaporates.

Step 4

For the next step in cooking fideua, place the strips of bell pepper and garlic in a skillet. Fry the pan over high heat, stirring the vegetables constantly. Add spices at the end of the treatment.

Step 5

Rinse the meat and cut into portions. Put them in a frying pan with vegetables, salt and pepper with red pepper. Simmer the dish until the meat is cooked on low heat, with the lid closed.

Step 6

Next, start making noodles. Pour water into a saucepan, salt and bring to a boil. Put the vermicelli in boiling water, cook until tender. Rinse the finished pasta in cold water in a colander.

Step 7

Mix the noodles with the main ingredients in a skillet and heat together for a few minutes. Serve the rabbit fideua hot.
