    • sugar - 2 cups;
    • flour - 2 cups;
    • sour cream - 500 g;
    • eggs - 2 pieces;

    • baking powder - 1 teaspoon;
    • salt - 1/2 teaspoon;
    • vanilla sugar - 10 g (1 pack);
    • pitted cherries - 100 g;
    • walnuts - 1 glass.

Instructions

Step 1

Beat 1 cup sugar and softened butter with a mixer until the sugar is completely dissolved, then add eggs one at a time while continuing to beat the mixture. You will get a homogeneous liquid mass with dense foam.

Step 2

In a separate bowl, combine the sifted flour with salt, baking soda and baking powder. Gradually add the resulting dry mixture to the liquid mass, continuing to beat everything. Also add 300 g sour cream, add vanilla sugar. Bring everything carefully with a mixer until smooth.

Step 3

Grease the pan with butter and sprinkle a little sugar on the bottom. Place a thin layer of cherries in it. Then, with a spoon, carefully place the resulting dough on the cherries, immediately distributing it evenly.

Step 4

Place the baking dish in an oven preheated to 180 degrees and bake for 30-35 minutes. Check the readiness with a wooden splinter, if, after sticking it into the cake, it remains dry and clean, then it is ready. Remove from oven and let cool. Remove the cooled sour cream pie from the mold and turn over.

Step 5

Whip the cream of 200 g sour cream and 1 cup sugar and garnish the cake with it. Sprinkle the cream with chopped walnuts if desired. You can grind them with a rolling pin: pre-dry the nuts in a frying pan, put them in a plastic bag and roll them over it several times.
