- For muffins:
- - 160 g flour;
- - 150 g of sugar;
- - 2 eggs;
- - 120 g butter;
- - 4 tablespoons sour cream;
- - 4 tablespoons milk;
- - 0.5 tsp soda;
- - 2 tsp baking powder;
- - a couple of pinches of salt.
- For sprinkling:
- - 80 g flour;
- - 80 g of sugar;
- - 60 g butter;
- - 100 g Snickers bar;
- - 100 g butterscotch.
Instructions
Step 1
Let's start by preparing the streusel sprinkles. First of all, the butter needs to be cold, so it's best to put it in the freezer for half an hour beforehand. And immediately cut off a piece of 120 g for the dough and leave at room temperature to soften. Meanwhile, mix the flour with sugar and cut the toffee and Snickers into small (the smaller the better) pieces. Then we rub the butter on a grater, quickly grind it with your fingertips with flour to a patchy crumb, add Snickers and toffee and refrigerate while we cook the dough.
Step 2
We set the oven to warm up to 190 degrees. Sift dry ingredients (flour, baking powder and salt) into a bowl. Beat butter and sugar using a mixer into a light fluffy mass. Add eggs, beat again. Then we send sour cream to the mixer bowl, mix until smooth.
Step 3
Pour in half of the sifted flour, beat. Then - half the milk. Stir and add flour and milk, whisking each time.
Step 4
Pour the dough into prepared molds, sprinkle with streusel and send to the oven for 40 minutes.
