It is necessary
- -1/4 cup milk or cream;
- - creamy caramel, 25 pieces;
- -1 tablespoon light corn syrup (or sugar)
- -1 teaspoon of butter;
- -1/4 teaspoon vanillin;
- -1/8 teaspoon of salt;
- -1/4 cup powdered sugar;
- -1/2 teaspoon of water;
- -2 cups of peanuts;
- -chocolate shavings (milk chocolate);
- -iriski.
Instructions
Step 1
To start making your homemade Snickers, place milk, five caramels, corn syrup, butter, vanilla and salt in a small saucepan. While stirring, heat the mixture over low heat until the caramel dissolves.
Step 2
When the mixture is smooth, add 3/4 cup powdered sugar to it and stir. While stirring, bring the mixture to 110C. Use a cooking thermometer to measure temperature.
Step 3
When the desired temperature is reached, remove the mixture from heat. Drive the remaining half cup of powdered sugar into it until it begins to thicken.
Step 4
While continuing to cook the Snickers at home, line the baking dish with tracing paper and fill it with the nougat made in the previous steps.
Step 5
Place the remaining caramel in a small saucepan and add half a teaspoon of water. Melt over low heat.
Step 6
Pour a layer of caramel over a layer of nougat, make sure that the thickness of the layers of homemade Snickers does not differ much from the store. Fill in the peanuts so that they completely cover the nougat layer.
Step 7
Melt the chocolate and toffee. You can use fondue dishes, or melt them in a water bath or in the microwave (for 20 seconds on medium power). Cover a layer of peanuts with the mixture, place everything in the refrigerator until it solidifies. The remaining chocolate will be needed to cover the other sides of the future bars.
Step 8
Cut the bars into the desired size and coat all remaining sides with chocolate. When dipping chocolate bars, be careful not to overdo it, otherwise it will overwhelm the rest of the flavors. Homemade "Snickers" is ready, bon appetit!
