Baking chicken in a conventional oven is quite troublesome, and not always possible. In this case, nothing prevents you from cooking it in the microwave oven - it will turn out to be no less tasty, and there will be much less hassle.

It is necessary

    • Chicken carcass.
    • For the marinade:
    • seasoning "For chicken" - 4 tablespoons;
    • seasoning "To the grill" - 2 tablespoons;
    • juice of one lemon;
    • garlic - 2 cloves.

Instructions

Step 1

Defrost chicken, remove offal. Make sure that there are no metal staples left on the chicken from the packaging, otherwise you risk setting up fireworks at home. Weigh the chicken before cooking in order to calculate the correct temperature and cooking time. If you bake stuffed chicken, weigh it along with the minced meat. If your chicken weighs less than 1.5 kg, then it will cook quickly, but will not have time to brown. So for a more appetizing look, spread soy sauce or melted butter before baking.

Step 2

Prepare the chicken marinade of your choice. You can, for example, do this: take 4 tablespoons of Chicken Seasoning, lemon juice, 2 tablespoons of Grilled Seasoning, 2 crushed garlic cloves, stir, grease the chicken and leave for a while. In principle, half an hour is enough, but a few hours is much better.

Step 3

Place the bird in the microwave correctly. If the carcass is more than 1.5 kg, then fold it compactly - tie the wings and legs. For a large chicken, cover the tips of the wings with foil so that they do not burn. Place large birds breast-side down - you will need to turn them over later.

Step 4

Use roasting bags if you are afraid to stain your microwave oven or if your poultry will not cook well. In this case, place a special roasting rack inside. Place the bird in a bag (do not forget to remove all metal clips from it), place it in the breast on the wire rack and start cooking.

Step 5

Remove the pouch when half the cooking time has elapsed. Turn the chicken breast-side up, pour over the soy sauce and continue cooking.

Step 6

Take the chicken out of the oven and cover it with foil - it will reflect heat inward, and thus the chicken will “reach” readiness outside the microwave. To test if the chicken is done, pierce it with a fork and press down a little. If clear juice flows out, the chicken is ready. If pink, the chicken still needs to stand in the oven.
