When there are small children in the home, the family's diet often changes in favor of healthy eating. It is much easier to prepare a delicious soup that both adults and children will eat than to prepare two separate dishes separately. Chicken fillet meatball soup is ideal for all family members.
It is necessary
- - chicken fillet - 500-600 g;
- - potatoes - 600 g;
- - carrots - 1 pc.;
- - onion 1 pc.;
- - rice - 1/2 cup;
- - chicken broth - 3 l;
- - greens;
- - salt;
- - pepper.
Instructions
Step 1
Prepare food. Peel and wash vegetables. Cut the potatoes into cubes and finely grate the carrots. Wash the chicken fillet and pass it through a meat grinder. Salt the resulting minced meat, pepper a little and mix well. Shape into meatballs. Minced chicken fillet is quite sticky and does not require the use of any additional ingredients to keep the meatballs from falling apart.
Step 2
If you are using pre-cooked chicken stock, bring it to a boil. If not, make it with chicken bones or a soup set. Dip the meatballs into it. Wait for the broth to boil again and the meatballs to float and add the potatoes. After 10 minutes, add the carrots and the whole, peeled onion.
Step 3
Rinse the rice well, cover with boiling water and cover. let it brew for 10 minutes.
Step 4
Remove the onion from the soup. She gave her taste to the dish, but hardly anyone will eat it. This method is used if one of the family members does not like pieces of onion floating in a plate. Children may even refuse to eat soup because of this.
Step 5
Season the soup with salt and pepper to taste. Check the potatoes for doneness. If it is soft, add rice to the soup, after draining the water. Add bay leaves and herbs. Cover and turn off heat.
Step 6
Let the soup sit for 15-20 minutes. Serve with fresh bread.
