Beef is difficult to cook, especially for beginners. But beef stewed with mushrooms turns out to be very juicy and aromatic.
It is necessary
- - beef pulp 800 g;
- - beef broth 250 ml;
- - bacon 70 g;
- - onions 3 pcs.;
- - fresh champignons 300 g;
- - carrots 1 pc.;
- - tomatoes 150 g;
- - dry red wine 300 g;
- - wheat flour 2 tbsp. spoons;
- - 2 bay leaves;
- - thyme 1 teaspoon;
- - fresh parsley 5-6 branches;
- - butter;
- - vegetable oil;
- - salt;
- - ground black pepper.
Instructions
Step 1
Wash the beef pulp, dry, then cut into small cubes. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan, fry the bacon slices on it, until golden brown.
Step 2
Place the bacon on paper towels to loosen the excess fat. Fry the pieces of beef in the same pan. Then transfer the meat and bacon to a heat-resistant dish. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 3
Peel and dice the carrots and two onions. Fry in a skillet with the remaining oil. Then transfer the onions and carrots to the meat.
Step 4
Peel the tomatoes, cut into cubes, add to the meat. Tie bay leaves, thyme and parsley with culinary thread, also add to the meat. Cover the dish with a lid, bake for 1.5 hours at 180 degrees.
Step 5
Then place the beef in a clean ovenproof saucepan. Pour the sauce in which the meat was originally cooked into a skillet with hot butter. Then add flour until thickened.
Step 6
Heat the butter in a separate skillet and fry the mushrooms in it. Then pour the sauce over the top. Simmer over medium heat for another 5 minutes. Serve the meat with mushrooms and sauce.
