Toffee, loved not only by children, but also by adults, can be prepared on your own. These creamy candies have a pleasant color and taste, and they are also very soft and literally melt in your mouth.
Homemade toffee can taste like honey, and you will need the following foods to make them:
- 200 ml heavy cream;
- 30 g butter;
- 200 g of sugar;
- 2 tbsp. honey;
- vegetable oil.
Combine all ingredients except vegetable oil in a small enamel saucepan. While stirring constantly, cook this mixture for 25 minutes, until it turns caramel color.
Pour the prepared mass into a plate and leave to cool to room temperature. The cooled caramel has softness and plasticity, now it is possible to form toffee from it using molds greased with vegetable oil. Ready-made sweets can be chilled in the refrigerator and served with tea.
Toffee can contain various additives, such as cinnamon, vanilla, roasted almonds. To make almond toffee, you will need the following ingredients:
- 1 tbsp. Sahara;
- 100 g of butter;
- 100 g of almonds;
- 2 tsp water;
- salt on the tip of the knife.
Combine butter, sugar, salt and water in a saucepan. Melt the mixture over low heat, then cook, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes. Next, add the crushed almonds to the pan and keep the same amount on the fire. After that, pour the mass into molds, cool and put in the refrigerator for an hour.
