Take a heavy-bottomed saucepan and combine sugar, honey, cream and butter in it. Melt the contents of the saucepan over low heat, while stirring constantly. Keep in mind that when heated, the mass will begin to boil and then foam.

Melt the chocolate in a steam bath. Remember that for the preparation of toffee, you need to choose only the best varieties of chocolate, since the taste of these sweets will directly depend on the quality of the chocolate.

After a while, the contents of the pot will begin to change color from light to yellow and brown. In this case, the mass will become thick, and a pleasant caramel aroma will appear in the kitchen. It is at this time that melted chocolate is added to the pan, then mix well and keep for about 5 minutes over low heat in order for this mixture to thicken.

Now you need to pour the homemade iris into several small forms or one large one, depending on your desire.

Put the finished iris on a baking sheet lined with paper or a silicone mold. Initially, homemade iris should be allowed to cool at room temperature and then sent to the refrigerator for cooling. Only then cut the toffee into portions.
