It is necessary

  • - 300 grams of granulated sugar;
  • - 300 grams of sour cream;
  • - 100 grams of honey;
  • - 100 grams of butter.

Instructions

Step 1

The first step is to mix honey and sugar, put the mass on medium heat and, stirring constantly, bring to a boil. Cook the mixture for several minutes, as soon as it darkens slightly (acquires a pleasant amber color), you can remove it from heat.

Step 2

Sour cream needs to be heated to 80-90 degrees, then mix it with honey mass. It is worth remembering that for the preparation of sour cream toffee, it is necessary to use exclusively fresh sour cream, since the product of not the first freshness will necessarily curl up when heated and it will not be possible to use it.

Step 3

Add the softened butter to the honey-sour cream mass and mix everything well. Put the mixture on low heat so that it boils down a little. Check readiness as follows: drip a few drops on a cold surface, let cool completely and taste. If you are satisfied with the consistency, then you can remove it from heat.

Step 4

Next, you need to cover the baking sheet with well-oiled parchment and pour the honey-sour cream mixture. Let stand at room temperature for about 15 minutes, then cut into squares or rectangles. Leave the candies to cool and solidify completely.

Step 5

The toffee is ready, now you can sprinkle them with powdered sugar and put in a vase, or you can wrap them in homemade wrappers using, for example, baking bags.
