If you want to please your guests or loved ones - prepare the Tsarsky salad. Delicious and delicate, it will be a real decoration for your table. Believe me, everyone will like it so much that after the feast not a trace will remain of it.
It is necessary
-
- 140 grams of red caviar;
- 200 grams of shrimp or 300 grams of crab sticks and 300 grams of squid,
- 100 grams of hard cheese;
- mayonnaise to taste;
- fresh herbs;
- 4-5 eggs;
- salt to taste.
Instructions
Step 1
Take a 2 liter saucepan, fill with water and put on fire. Rinse 200 grams of shrimp under cold water. When the water boils, add salt to taste and add the shrimp. Cook them for two minutes without covering the pot with a lid.
Step 2
Boil 4 hard-boiled eggs, peel them, separate the yolk from the protein. Use only proteins for the salad. Grate 100 grams of hard cheese on a fine grater. Wash one large fresh cucumber and grate on a coarse grater. Grate the egg whites on a fine grater. Take a wide salad bowl and put the salad in layers, alternating: cheese, shrimp, cucumber, egg whites and caviar.
Step 3
Be sure to coat each layer with a thin layer of mayonnaise and salt well. On the last layer: open a 140 gram can of red caviar, lay out the contents and smooth out as neatly as possible with a spoon turned upside down. If there is not enough salt, the salad will turn out to be tasteless.
Step 4
Instead of shrimp, you can use crab sticks and squid. Pour 300 grams of squid with cold water and after boiling, cook for another three minutes, cool and cut into thin strips, or if there is a special grater, rub with small crumbs. Cut 300 grams of crab sticks into small cubes.
Step 5
Mix all the ingredients of the salad with mayonnaise: crab sticks, squid, cucumber, egg whites 4-5 eggs and 140 grams of caviar, salt to taste. No cheese is added in this version. Put the salad in a salad bowl, garnish with finely chopped fresh herbs and one tablespoon of caviar, place a boiled and peeled quail egg in the center for beauty.
Let the salad sit for about 20-30 minutes, but no more. If you overdo it, the caviar can become chapped. After the grated cucumber releases the juice, which seeps to the bottom of the salad bowl, the salad will soak and become juicy.
