Beef with beans and corn belongs to Mexican cuisine. After all, it is the Mexicans who love to cook meat with beans and peppers, it is worth remembering their tacos. According to this recipe, you will get a moderately spicy and very satisfying meat stew with vegetables.
It is necessary
- For four servings:
- - 500 g ground beef;
- - 500 g canned red beans;
- - 800 g of canned tomatoes;
- - 320 g of canned corn;
- - 120 g each canned green chili, cheddar cheese;
- - 1 onion;
- - 5 cloves of garlic;
- - 1 bell pepper;
- - chili powder, ground cumin, dry marjoram, salt, parsley, black pepper.
Instructions
Step 1
First, fry the ground beef for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 2
Peel the onion, chop, add to the minced meat. Chop the garlic too (you can use the garlic press), send it to the meat.
Step 3
Add chili, red beans, corn, cubes of red or green bell peppers. Continue simmering the minced meat along with the vegetables.
Step 4
Add caraway seeds, marjoram, chili powder, crushed canned tomatoes and juice. Season the dish with pepper and salt to taste, reduce heat, simmer for 30 minutes, covered. The stew should thicken slightly.
Step 5
Remove from heat, sprinkle with parsley and cheese, leave to simmer.
Step 6
Sprinkle with grated cheese again before serving, garnish with parsley sprigs.
