Potatoes are a favorite product of many, from which you can prepare a great variety of all kinds of dishes. It is not for nothing that potatoes are called the second bread. Country-style potatoes are an easy-to-prepare, but at the same time, very popular dish.

Instructions
Step 1
Rinse the potatoes well with a brush. Fill with water and place on the stove. Add salt as soon as the water starts to boil. Cook for about 2-3 minutes.

Refrigerate and cut each potato into four to six pieces, depending on size.

Combine spices, olive oil, salt and pepper to taste.

Place the potato wedges, skin side down, on a parchment-lined baking sheet. It is important that the potato wedges lie evenly in one layer, otherwise you will not get baked, but stewed potatoes.

Sprinkle the potatoes with the prepared mixture, place the baking sheet in a preheated oven and, uncovered, bake until the potatoes are golden brown - about 10-15 minutes at 200 degrees.

It is recommended that you periodically turn the potato wedges so that they are fried on all sides.

Cooking time will depend on the size of the potato wedges and the variety of potatoes. Readiness can be checked with a toothpick. The inside of the potatoes should be soft, and the outside should have a fried golden crust. To do this, at the end of frying, you can increase the temperature in the oven.
Step 8
A couple of minutes until fully cooked, you can add some finely chopped greens. Greens can be any that is at hand, since it will definitely not spoil the dish.

Any cheese grated on a coarse grater is sometimes added with herbs, which gives the dish an unusual taste.
Step 10
Your country-style potatoes are ready. It can be eaten both cold and hot. It can be an independent dish, a versatile side dish for meat, fish and vegetables, as a snack for beer or stronger drinks.
