Today there are many recipes for preserving cherries. They differ either in the method of preparation or in the presence of new ingredients. Such recipes appear, thanks to the ingenuity of wise housewives, who, in order to diversify the long-known and "boring" conservation, add something new to it. So, from year to year, recipes change beyond recognition. There are only a certain number of permanent preservation recipes, including cherries in their own juice. In addition to the fact that cherries are very tasty, they are also useful for people with a weakened nervous system, and the ascorbic acid contained in it strengthens capillaries and lowers blood pressure.
Instructions
Step 1
First, you need to sort through the cherries and select whole, undamaged fruits. The quantity does not matter, take as much as you see fit.
Step 2
Prepare the jars in advance so that they are clean and dry before the start of preservation. Put cherries in them. Then place the cans in a saucepan, at the bottom of which set a metal support for preservation, and pour water into the container.
Step 3
Then turn on low heat. As they heat up, the cherries will begin to shrink, releasing their time until the juice fills the entire container.
Step 4
Then bring the water to a boil and pasteurize the jars. For half-liter, 10 minutes will be enough, and for liter at least 15. During pasteurization, the jars should be covered with lids, which you must first boil for at least 5 minutes.
Step 5
If you do not want your canned food to "explode", experienced housewives recommend turning them upside down immediately after you close them and then refrigerating them.
Step 6
There is also another recipe. It is used in the event that there is little time allotted for conservation. Place fresh and selected cherries in pre-pasteurized jars.
Step 7
After that, pour boiling water over the fruits and cover with boiled lids. Some housewives, instead of water, pour the fruits with cherry juice. Also, remember to turn the cans upside down after you have rolled up the lids.
