Homemade silver carp herring is a very tasty and easy-to-prepare dish that can be served with absolutely any side dish. Such a snack can diversify not only the everyday, but also the festive table.
It is necessary
- 2 kg silver carp,
- 250 ml of water
- 250 ml vinegar
- 220 grams of salt
- a little allspice,
- a little clove,
- 100 ml of vegetable oil.
Instructions
Step 1
We wash the silver carp well. We cut the fish into fillets, preferably pitted.
Step 2
Cut each part of the fillet into pieces, about 2 cm wide.
Step 3
We transfer the chopped fish to a bowl (the tighter we put it, the better).
Step 4
Pour water, vinegar into a cup, salt and mix. Pour the fish with the resulting marinade. Close the bowl with a lid and put it in a cool place for 48 hours.
Step 5
We take out the fish and squeeze the marinade from each piece (hands must be clean). We put the squeezed pieces into a cup.
Step 6
We sterilize small jars (you can take half-liter or even less - if you wish). Put a layer of silver carp in each jar, add allspice, cloves and fill with vegetable oil. Repeat the layers until there is a fish and a place in the jar. In my half-liter jar, I got three layers of fish.
Step 7
Close the jars tightly and put them in the refrigerator for about 3 hours. During this time, the silver carp will be well saturated.
Step 8
We take out the homemade silver carp herring and serve it along with onions and black bread slices.
