It is necessary

  • - flour - 1 tsp;
  • - paprika - 1 tablespoon;
  • - vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons;
  • - salt - 1.5 tsp;
  • - water - 1.5 liters;
  • - tomato paste - 60 g;
  • - small carrots - 1 pc;
  • - large onion - 1 piece;
  • - potatoes - 350 g;
  • - rice - 50 g;
  • - minced meat (pepper, salt, onion, meat) - 500 g.

Instructions

Step 1

Rinse the rice three times and mix with the minced meat. Next, roll up balls that resemble a walnut in size. Tighten the balls by rolling them between your palms, otherwise they may fall apart when boiling.

Step 2

Peel and slice potatoes. Rinse it in cold water to free it from starch. Fill a pot with water and bring it to a boil. Add the potatoes, then bring to a boil again and place one meatball at a time in the water.

Step 3

Reduce heat to low, cover pan with lid. While the meatballs and potatoes are boiling, prepare the frying. Chop the onion very finely, heat the oil in a skillet and place the onion in it.

Step 4

Fry the onions, stirring frequently and setting the heat to medium. It should become soft and transparent, with a slight tint of yellow.

Step 5

Put coarsely grated carrots on the onion. Fry them for 5 minutes without burning. Add tomato paste to vegetables and fry for another 2 minutes, stirring constantly. The smell will change from sour to fried. Add flour and paprika. Stir the mixture until uniform.

Step 6

Scoop the broth with a ladle from the saucepan and pour it into the pan. Stir, trying to make a homogeneous mass. Transfer the frying to a saucepan. Season with pepper and salt and cook for another 10 minutes. Finely chopped greens can be added to ready-made tomato soup with meatballs.
