The soup prepared according to this recipe is very satisfying, thick and has a rich taste. To make the dish more flavorful, it is necessary to use minced beef. Paprika will give it some sophistication.

- - paprika - 1 tablespoon;
- - vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons;
- - salt - 1.5 tsp;
- - water - 1.5 liters;
- - tomato paste - 60 g;
- - small carrots - 1 pc;
- - large onion - 1 piece;
- - potatoes - 350 g;
- - rice - 50 g;
- - minced meat (pepper, salt, onion, meat) - 500 g.

Step 1
Rinse the rice three times and mix with the minced meat. Next, roll up balls that resemble a walnut in size. Tighten the balls by rolling them between your palms, otherwise they may fall apart when boiling.

Peel and slice potatoes. Rinse it in cold water to free it from starch. Fill a pot with water and bring it to a boil. Add the potatoes, then bring to a boil again and place one meatball at a time in the water.
Step 3
Reduce heat to low, cover pan with lid. While the meatballs and potatoes are boiling, prepare the frying. Chop the onion very finely, heat the oil in a skillet and place the onion in it.
Step 4
Fry the onions, stirring frequently and setting the heat to medium. It should become soft and transparent, with a slight tint of yellow.
Step 5
Put coarsely grated carrots on the onion. Fry them for 5 minutes without burning. Add tomato paste to vegetables and fry for another 2 minutes, stirring constantly. The smell will change from sour to fried. Add flour and paprika. Stir the mixture until uniform.
Step 6
Scoop the broth with a ladle from the saucepan and pour it into the pan. Stir, trying to make a homogeneous mass. Transfer the frying to a saucepan. Season with pepper and salt and cook for another 10 minutes. Finely chopped greens can be added to ready-made tomato soup with meatballs.
