Pea soup is a very popular dish on the table, but few people know what mushrooms can be added to it. The soup turns out to be very satisfying and rich in mushroom aroma. It is recommended to serve it with sour cream.

Ingredients:

  • 150 g of mushrooms;
  • 300 g pork ribs;
  • 250 g peas;
  • 1 onion;
  • 1 medium carrot;
  • 2.5 liters of water;
  • a couple of potatoes;
  • sunflower oil;
  • salt.

Preparation:

  1. Soak peas in advance. To do this, you need to take a clean cup and send the peas there, pour cold water over it. It should be in this state for a couple of hours.
  2. Wash the mushrooms thoroughly and pour a glass of water. They should also stand for about an hour. After that, the mushrooms, together with water, must be poured into a saucepan and put on fire. Cook them until soft.
  3. Rinse the meat thoroughly under running water and dry. Then cut into individual ribs. Next, you need to take a frying pan and pour in the sunflower oil. Put it on fire and wait until it heats up. We send the ribs there and fry them until golden brown. Then they need to be put in a saucepan with hot water and boiled for about half an hour. We send peas into the same pan. Cook it until half cooked.
  4. Then you need to peel the onion and chop it into small squares.
  5. Peel the carrots and grate or cut into strips. In a frying pan on the fat remaining from the ribs, fry the onions and carrots until soft.
  6. Peel and dice the potatoes as well. Send potatoes and mushrooms to the pan along with the liquid. Boil the broth until the potatoes are soft. Frying is also sent there. Then the soup can be seasoned with salt and seasoning.
  7. The soup will cook for another 10 minutes, then you can turn it off. At the end, you can add chopped greens.
