The traditional Mexican burrito is a wheat tortilla stuffed with minced meat, corn, vegetables and served with sour cream or chili sauce. Simple, nutritious, but very healthy and not too high in calories.
It is necessary
- - 8 tortillas corn tortillas;
- - 1 hot pepper (ideally a jalapeno variety);
- - 150 gr. canned corn;
- - red onion;
- - 2 medium tomatoes;
- - 70 gr. canned beans;
- - 4 teaspoons of lime juice;
- - 3 tablespoons of chopped parsley;
- - salt;
- - a spoonful of olive oil;
- - 3 chicken breasts;
- - a pinch of sweet paprika;
- - 100 gr. lettuce leaves;
- - 125 ml sour cream.
Instructions
Step 1
Grind the chili (jalapeno) and onion. Cut the tomatoes into cubes.
Step 2
Place the corn and beans on a sieve.
Step 3
Squeeze lime juice: 2 teaspoons for vegetables and 2 for chicken.
Step 4
Mix vegetables in a bowl, add chopped parsley, lime juice and salt to taste.
Step 5
Cut the chicken breast into cubes and fry in olive oil. Salt to taste. A minute before cooking, pour in the lime juice and sprinkle the chicken with paprika, stir and remove from the heat.
Step 6
Grind the lettuce leaves.
Step 7
Put a mixture of vegetables, chicken, salad and a spoonful of sour cream on the tortillas. We serve the finished dish on the table.
